About the author

Jillian Lavender is one of the world’s most experienced teachers of Vedic Meditation. She is co-founder of the London and New York Meditation Centres. Alongside her partner Michael Miller, she has helped thousands of people across the globe transform their lives through meditation. Her work has featured in the media and she has appeared on numerous podcasts.
Originally from New Zealand, Jillian held senior leadership roles at global publishing companies in Sydney, Paris, New York and London. During this time, a friend introduced her to Vedic Meditation and the effects were immediate and profound. Inspired by the life-changing benefits, she left her corporate career to spend 14 months in full-time, in-residence training, in India and the US, to become a teacher. A trusted guide, Jillian is the go-to meditation teacher for many in the public eye, as well as individuals from all walks of life. She lives in London with Michael and their daughter.
