The Skimming Stone

A short story about courage

Dominic Wilcox

knew the moment had arrived at last.

The stars had aligned.

It was the perfect balance of stillness and silence.

If you had the chance to do the one thing you've always wanted to do, would you dare?

Could you ignore the doubts and follow your heart — even at the risk of failure?

It is only when we have the courage to take the first step that things can truly change.

And something new can begin.

The Skimming Stone is a beautifully illustrated tale about courage, self-belief and optimism.

Reviews

Dominic Wilcox challenges the real world to keep looking at itself with innocent eyes, wondering what else is possible.
