About the author

Charlie Gladstone is an entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience operating small businesses. He is a retailer, festival owner, farmer, author, publican, restauranteur, podcast host, property developer, charity board member and enthusiast. His businesses employ over 100 people and include The Good Life Society, the Hawarden Estate Farm Shop in North Wales and Glen Dye Cabins and Cottages in Scotland. With his wife Caroline, he wrote The Family Guide to the Great Outdoors (Penguin). They have been married for over 30 years and together they have six adult children.
