Stay Curious - How we created a world class event in a cowshed Clare Hieatt

Stay Curious is available to pre-order ahead of publication. Orders placed before 17th August will have their name printed in the back of the book.

Ten years ago, Clare and David Hieatt started the Do Lectures with a simple aim: To gather together the world’s Doers – disruptors and change makers, experts and pioneers – to share their stories, and encourage others to go and Do.

Since that time, the Do Lectures has grown into a small but mighty institution, a unique gathering around ideas set over four days on their farm in West Wales. It has attracted world-class speakers and inspired countless attendees to follow their passions.

Stay Curious is a celebration of the Do Lectures' life-changing magic, full of personal insight and lessons learnt over the last decade - from curating the very best speakers, to styling and producing a beautifully intimate event, and the importance of people, place and passion.

A stunning 304-page clothbound hardback with colour photography and original artwork, Stay Curious: How we created a world-class event in a cowshed will invite you to experience this special event and share insight into how to curate and host your own beautiful gatherings.

Reviews

Four years ago I went to a little festival in Wales where it pissed with rain and my heart broke open so wide, I knew life would never be the same. And indeed it wasn't. The Do Lectures changed my life, actually it saved it.

About the author

Clare Hieatt is the co-founder of Hiut Denim and The Do Lectures. Before that, along with her husband David, she built Howies into one of the most influential active sports brands of the last decade. After selling it to Timberland, she co-founded The Do Lectures. It was voted in the Top Ten ideas festivals in the world by The Guardian and has taken place in West Wales, California and Australia. More recently she started Hiut Denim in her home town of Cardigan. A town that used to have Britain’s biggest jeans factory. She lives with her family in Cardigan, West Wales.
