Do Death

For a life better lived.

Amanda Blainey

'Most people spend their whole lives asleep, and then wake up a few days before they're about to die.' Olivia Bareham

We can't escape the inevitability of death, nor can we deny its existence. So, when someone close to us dies or we are confronted by our own mortality, why are we so unprepared?

Amanda Blainey invites us to accept death as a natural part of life, and to live in a more enriching and meaningful way. Discover:

  • The power of human connection
  • How to talk more openly and authentically about death
  • Better ways to navigate grief - our own and others
  • Practical advice on what to do when someone dies

Death can be our greatest teacher in so many aspects of our life and our relationships.  This book is a manual for living.

Reviews

A tiny gem crammed with wisdom and kindness.

Kathryn Mannix, author of With the End in Mind

For those helping and for the person facing this moment of life that we will all confront, Do Death is a book we should all read – must read. It should be set as a GCSE text. Clear, concise, practical and kind. Beautiful work.
